The Can-Am you drive was built in our family's race shop to cross this ground at speed. Desert Mayhem is three hours to find out what that feels like, on sand washes and open desert outside San José del Cabo.
A professional off-road racer guide runs lead the whole way, reads the ground ahead and sets a pace you are comfortable with. Push when you want to, ease off when you don't. No experience needed: if you can drive a car, you can drive this.
Private, like every expedition we run: your machine, your group, no one else's schedule.
HOW IT WORKS
01 - PICK UP
We collect you from your hotel or villa in San José del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas or the East Cape and drive you to the staging point.
02 - BRIEFING AND GEAR
At the staging point, a briefing before you start. Then helmets, and harnesses: all fitted before we head out.
03 - THE RUN
60 miles of open desert, on ground the Baja 1000 runs. You drive. A guide runs lead and sets a pace you are comfortable with — not the other way around.
04 - RETURN
Cold water, the photos from the route, and back to where we picked you up.

01 - THE MACHINE
A purpose-built CAN-AM X3 four seat pre-runner. Chromoly cage, race grade tuned suspension, communication for all seats and pre-loaded GPS course track with pace notes.
02 - SAFETY GEAR
Full-face helmets fed with forced air, so you breathe clean air in the dust, and SFI-certified harnesses, the standard for BAJA off-road racing.
03 - YOUR GUIDE
A professional Baja racing driver from the crew that built your machine runs ahead of you, reading the ground, picking the line, setting a pace that suits you and staying on the radio the whole way. You push further than you would on your own, with someone in front who knows exactly where the limit is.
04 - ON THE TRAIL
Ice-cold water, electrolytes and snacks to keep you sharp in the heat. Driving tips and support from the shop that built your machine, so if anything needs attention, it's handled by the people who built it.
